Quality Dressage Sale Horses, Lessons and Training in Central Kentucky

(Street Cry x Dayjur x Sunny's Halo)

Offering this really fun OTTB for your consideration. Maka has the temperament, athleticism, and looks to be a competitive upper level mount in eventing or dressage. He easily placed in the top 10 out of over 130 competitors at the 2019 Retired Racehorse Project in the dressage discipline scoring a 70.5%. This was a really impressive accomplishment for this sweet horse, seeing as he came off of the track in June and the competition was held in October. It was also Maka's first trip off property since being restarted off the track. He was a rockstar at the Kentucky Horse Park and rode around the Rolex stadium without batting an eye.

Maka has competed up to 1st Level Test Three at a USEF/USDF competition, qualifying his Junior rider for USDF Regional Championships. He has a great understanding of lateral work and is working towards a really powerful medium trot. Maka boasts a super balanced and comfortable canter, with tons of lift and awesome reach with the hind leg.

Maka is quite fun to work with as he is super brave and willing. He is such a fun guy when you pair his work ethic with his puppy dog personality and his adorable sense of humor! He is currently schooling 2nd level dressage and novice level show jumping. Maka has also been introduced to cross country logs, water, and banks. He is very brave and approaches each jump with confidence. He rides the same on the farm as when he hauls to new locations.

Maka is also the same horse with consistent work or a few days off. He rides well alone or with others and is a hacking machine. He is well traveled and easy to handle in new locations. Great for the farrier and general care.
